Join us, in conjunction with the New York Theatre Education Association, in New York City, September 30-October-3, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. This year’s EdTA Conference theme, “The Heart of It All,” will focus on ways in which collaboration between professional theatre artists and educators can create a better theatre experience and learning for students.

 

The conference will feature keynote addresses by actor Kevin Kline and director-actor Joe Mantello; a panel on the future of the National Standards for Theatre Education; eight all-day pre- and post Professional Development Institutes; more than fifty workshops; an exhibitor showcase: and the annual EdTA Hall of Fame induction dinner.

 

New this year: ninety-minute workshop sessions will be offered on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning.
