| As an active professional member of EdTA, you will receive your first renewal notice approximately two months before the membership expiration date each year. When you receive your renewal notice, promptly return the tear-off portion of your invoice with payment in order to avoid a break in your membership benefits. If you prefer, you may choose to renew your professional membership online using a Visa, MasterCard, or Diners Club as payment. The professional membership renewal dues are $75.
To renew your affiliate professional membership, you must maintain affiliation with an active ITS troupe. Your renewal notice will be sent to the troupe director’s attention at the school address approximately two months before the membership expiration date each year. This allows the troupe director to verify your current affiliation. The troupe director should forward the notice to you as soon as possible.
If you are no longer affiliated with the troupe or its membership is not active at the end of your membership term, please contact the home office. We’ll be happy to convert your affiliate professional membership to a standard professional membership, so you won’t miss out on EdTA benefits and opportunities. As an active pre-professional member of EdTA, you will receive your first renewal notice approximately two months before the membership expiration date each year. When you receive your renewal notice, promptly return the tear-off portion of your invoice and verification of enrollment, along with your payment to avoid a break in your membership benefits.
Because renewal of pre-professional membership requires verification of current enrollment, it is not possible to renew your membership online. When your enrollment ends or you graduate from your current program, we look forward to welcoming you as a professional member of EdTA. To maintain active status from year to year, troupes must submit annual troupe renewal dues. First notices for renewal dues (also known as troupe dues) are sent each April to allow troupes to pre-pay for the following school year if they choose to do so. The deadline for troupe renewal is October 15. After this date, troupes that have not paid their troupe dues become inactive and their benefits are suspended. Troupes that have not paid their renewal dues by November 15 are withdrawn from active status and must pay an additional reinstatement fee.
For the purposes of meeting renewal deadlines, ITS will accept official school purchase order documents complete with a PO number and an administrator’s signature. We will also accept payment by check, Visa, MasterCard, or Diners Club. Please return the tear-off portion of your notice along with your payment. It is also possible to pay Thespian and Junior Thespian troupe renewal dues online using a Visa, MasterCard, or Diners Club. Annual Thespian or Junior Thespian troupe dues are $65. Important note: If you are unsure of your payment status or have questions about renewing your membership, please contact us at members@edta.org. |
